How soon will I be paid out after making a claim?
This depends on the deferred period set out at the start of your plan which starts from the first day you are unable to work. Self-employed people may be paid in 7 days otherwise it’s usually 3, 6 or 12 months. It’s also worth noting premiums are often cheaper the longer the deferred period is.
Being new to mortgages I did not know what to expect. The team at Mapps made me feel incredibly positive about the whole situation. No question was ever a stupid question in their eyes. (There were lots of stupid questions from my end)!. Every time I rang they made me feel comfortable and always made time to put me at ease. You still have our support and service throughout this lockdown
We are continuing to take calls and enquiries as normal, please contact us through our phone and email. Unfortunately, our office is closed but we are very much open for business.
The housing market in the UK is still very much open and we are still able to submit mortgage applications on your behalf.
Your insurance renewal will be generated and issued as normal and we are also available to provide you with new no obligation quotations.
All our team are still working however some are working from home. All necessary precautions have been taken to protect your data with our change in office circumstances.
Whilst we are still able to process mortgage applications, you may experience some delays caused by lenders, surveyors and solicitors at this time.
We are here to help you and support you and be assured that we will do everything we can to take care of you and your loved ones in 2021.
